Butter Buttermilk Biscuits
These finished buttermilk biscuits are soft and delicious with a rich, buttery texture.
Try these honey butter cookies for breakfast. You can also top it with sausage gravy. Egg and sausage
breakfast sandwiches on biscuits are some of my favorites.

Making Honey Ayran Biscuit!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet lined with parchment or parchment paper
with cooking spray.
Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large bowl.

Add cold oil. Mix until smooth and then use your hands or rolling pin to remove any lumps.
Add the oil to form a ball and mix until combined.
On a floured surface, roll out the ball of dough into a rectangle about 1 inch long. Repeat this after
rounding . Continue the same step four times.
Roll out the dough again to a thickness of 1 centimeter. Take a glass or use a cookie cutter to cut it

out. When placing the cookies on the paper, make sure they fit together. Bake for 15 minutes or until
top is brown.
Melt the butter in a small bowl and stir in the honey until well combined.
Remove the cookies from the oven and warm with honey butter.
Butter Buttermilk Biscuits
What You’ll Need:
2.5 cups self-rising flour

half cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon salt (I left this out),
1/3 stick cold butter
Melt the butter and honey, 2 Tbsp. spoon plus 1 tablespoon
Preparation:
When you mix the flour and oil with your hand, its consistency should resemble corn. Then add
quality buttermilk and mix until well mixed.
Then place on a clean surface, knead the dough five times, and cut out with a 2.5-inch cookie cutter.
Bake in a prepared pan at 375 degrees for 18–20 minutes.
Hot cookies are served with some honey butter after baking.
