Chinese pepper steak with onions
Ingredients:
°1.5 pounds beef strips (I used round fillets cut into strips)
°1 green pepper, cut into thick slices
°1 red pepper, cut into thick slices
°1/2 onion, in thickly sliced
°1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

°1 1/2 cup beef broth
°1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
°3 tablespoon soy sauce
°1/4 teaspoon black pepper
°2 teaspoon brown sugar

°1 tablespoon cornstarch
Preparation:
Place meat, peppers and onions in an electric pressure cooker.
Add spices, brown sugar and soy sauce to the meat and peppers.
Pour the beef broth into the Instant Pot.

Put the lid on and make sure it is tightly closed.Set the pressure to high for 15 minutes.
When you are finished with the quick release (or if you want the steak to fall apart, do a natural
release)
Remove the lid and press the cancel button. Then switch the pressure cooker to blowing mode.

In a separate small bowl, mix 1/4 cup cold water with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Then add the pepper
steak mixture to the instant pan.Simmer until sauce begins to thicken, 3 to 5 minutes.
